OVERVIEW
In 2022, Volleyball Australia launched the inaugural Great Ocean Road Beach Volleyfest, a multi-event showcase featuring two legs of the World Pro Tour and the opening round of the Australian Beach Volleyball Tour. Set against Victoria’s iconic coastline, the event aimed to elevate beach volleyball’s national profile and deliver a world-class experience for fans, athletes, and partners.
WHAT WE WERE ENGAGED TO DELIVER
Beyond the Break was engaged to lead the strategic marketing and communications campaign for Beach Volleyfest. Our scope included:
- Development of a local and national marketing strategy to drive ticket sales, broadcast viewership, and digital engagement
- Creation of an integrated media and stakeholder plan with cost-effective initiatives
- Production of video, graphics, and digital assets for media partners and Volleyball Australia channels
- Media liaison and pitching to secure national coverage
